The Albemarle 444.900 repeater went on the air around lunch time today and is on the link system now. Initial testing shows good portable coverage along most of Hwy 24/27 between Mint Hill and Albemarle and along Hwy 73 in Cabarrus and Stanly counties. Portable coverage is excellent throughout the city limits of Albemarle. Mobile coverage looks good south to Wadesboro and west into Mecklenburg County as well. We've also had a few portable check-in's from the Richfield area as well.
